We’re a group of like-minded, rugby supporting people who want to watch rugby in Manchester.
The Manchester Rugby Collective was born out of frustration. Frustration at not being able to find a decent place to watch rugby in Manchester. It started with just three of us and is growing bigger everyday. Clearly, it is not just us who are looking for good places to watch rugby in Manchester.
We usually gear up for the big tournaments. So, if you’re in Manchester and want to watch the Six Nations, Rugby World Cup, European Champions Cup, The Rugby Championship and European, Challenge Cup then we will probably be all over it.
We are not just a group of Englishmen that want to take over a bar either, the collective are a mixed bunch of men and women, with a large Welsh, Irish, Scottish, French, Italian, Kiwi, South African and other worldly wide folks who love the ‘craic’ around rugby. So, the English are actually outnumbered and often reminded of it (in a friendly way of course).
Watching the Rugby in Manchester is more enjoyable with the Manchester Rugby Collective and that is what we aim to achieve. Our events for the Six Nations were great fun for all involved and we hope that our events to watch the world cup in Manchester will be equally as good.
Our aim is to provide information on the best pubs to watch rugby and to get together from time to time to watch the match. We will find a rugby friendly venue – with good food and drink, provide a good space to watch the rugby, have a friendly and fun atmosphere and invite everyone to be part of the Manchester ‘Pub’ Rugby Collective.
